Virtual Zoo

Welcome to the Virtual Zoo!

The Virtual Zoo will give me the opportunity to talk about the challenges involved in designing real (rather than practice) applications. It’s not an application I am actively working on; which gives me the opportunity to be rather silly about it; and it will make it easier to come up with examples for just about anything without having to modify an existing project.

Because this application does not exist – nor does anything like it – it will need to be _developed_. It’s a giant playground where I can work on everything and anything without the danger of compromising a projectI am working on; it can be as simple or complex as I want it to be; and there’s no pressure to produce a working version, which means no temptation to put ‘making it functional’ over best practice.
